ALL NordicStove heater models have a flat heavy steel or cast iron top plate lid that provides an excellent cooking surface - hot, but not too hot. The average temperature with the unit on high is about 630°F. No electricity is necessary. With NordicStove you have four sizes to choose from so you will be able to find the size that efficiently meets your heating and/or cooking needs.
